Daffodil Primeur
Many of the yellow daffodils have "gold" or "golden" in their names, but if there is any daffodil that could be called this without fooling you it is this one. It has a very nice warm golden yellow color, almost looking orange at sunset.
Primeur is one of the great daffodils, but it's a slow increaser and that is why it will never be as heavily marketed as the more well-known yellow trumpets. It produces massive bulbs and strong plants that will stay in your garden for many years.
