Daffodil Slim Whitman
Slim Whitman
Slim Whitman is a sport of Ice Follies and has the same good habits: an easy to grow daffodil and a great perennializer. The only difference between Slim Whitman and Ice Follies is the color of the cup. Slim Whitman has an egg yellow, almost orange, cup that gives a much nicer contrast than the soft yellow cup of Ice Follies, which soon fades to white.
This daffodil is named after the famous singer who made his debut on the Mutual Network's Smokey Mountain Hayride in the summer of 1949.
