Daffodil Stratosphere
Stratosphere is one of the tallest jonquillas around. In spite of its enormous height, it is still an incredibly handsome daffodil, with 2 or 3 fragrant bright yellow flowers per stem. This rather late-blooming variety is great for picking but also does a great job of cheering up your spring garden.
The buds open when the stems are a little over 1 foot tall, but after opening they keep on growing in the direction of the stratosphere and in some years reach a height of over 2 feet.
