Do you do dig daffodils?
We do, and we think you should, too. Daffodils are beautiful, deer- and rodent-proof, and perennial. Plant them in a sunny, well-drained location and they will brighten the garden and landscape for many springs to come. While having a few bulbs is nice, there is nothing like seeing a mass of daffodils in a garden bed or at the edge of woods. Our wholesale prices make big displays affordable.

So Much More Than Yellow
For many people, the word "daffodil" brings to mind a golden flower. Daffodils come in many shades of gold and yellow, it's true, but that's just the beginning. There are pure white daffodils, white daffodils with yellow cups, yellow daffodils with white cups, white daffodils with pink or orange cups, yellow daffodils with orange or red cups. Daffodils also vary in flower shape, bloom time and height. If you want a standard yellow, we've got it. And if you're looking for something different, we have some real treats for you.
Unappetizing to Critters
Neither deer nor rodents of any kind (squirrels, voles, woodchucks, gophers) will eat a daffodil because all parts of the plant contain alkaloid chemicals that are very bitter and can be toxic if eaten. Even in a landscape that is ravaged by deer and overrun with rodents, the daffodils will grow and bloom unmolested.
Plant 'Em Once and You're Done
Daffodils are perennial. In a site they like, they will bloom spring after spring for many years. To have a perennial display, all you need to do is follow these 4 basic rules:
1. Plant daffodils where they will receive at least six hours of direct sunlight-even after they have finished flowering and nearby trees have leafed out. Daffodils need lots of sun after they bloom to produce next year's flowers.
2. Plant them in soil that drains well. Avoid areas where water stands after a rain storm.
3. Fertilize very lightly with a low-nitrogen fertilizer, preferably organic, just as the shoots emerge from the ground in late winter or early spring.
4. After daffodils flower, let the leaves turn yellow before cutting them. Never tie or braid the foliage.
